Some wedding days seem to unfold effortlessly, as though everything has fallen into place.
Ebrahim and Maria's summer wedding at the Stanley Park Teahouse was one of those days.

What stood out most was the love surrounding them. Friends and family who came from near and far to be there, including members of Maria's family who travelled all the way from Venezuela just a week after the devastating earthquake. Their journey made their presence feel all the more meaningful.

The day itself couldn't have been more beautiful. Warm summer light, the quiet beauty of Stanley Park, and the elegance of the Teahouse created the perfect setting for their ceremony and reception.

There was something timeless about watching Ebrahim and Maria exchange their vows surrounded by so many people who had made the journey to celebrate with them.

The speeches that followed were touching and emotional — filled with stories, memories, laughter and more than a few tears. Between the elegance of the reception and the warmth of the people around them, the entire day felt deeply personal.

As the afternoon slowly gave way to evening, everything became a little quieter.
Ebrahim and Maria shared their first dance, then found time to simply be together — talking, laughing and taking in the memories they had just created.

Eventually, we stepped away from the reception and wandered along one of Stanley Park's trails.
The light was fading. The day was coming to an end.
And then we found it.
A small sign along the path that read “Lovers.”
The perfect ending.
It felt almost too perfect.
After a day surrounded by the people they loved, we ended with one final photograph of Ebrahim and Maria together, standing in front of a sign that simply read "lovers."
A beautiful ending to a beautiful day.
